National leader Heydar Aliyev has been commemorated in the AHIK

An event on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev was held in Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation (AICC) on May 8.

Mohbaliyev, a Member of Parliament, said that the services rendered by through
the life of national leader Heydar Aliyev, the founder of modern independent
Azerbaijan, are unprecedented. By mobilizing all our citizens around the
ideology of Azerbaijan, irrespective of national and religious affiliation, the
Great Leader has created the indestructible basis of Azerbaijan's statehood. More
than 30 years of history of Azerbaijan, the revival of all spheres of
public-political, economic and cultural life of our people during these years
is connected with the name of great leader Heydar Aliyev. Heydar Aliyev, returned
to power in 1993 during the difficult times of the country, relying on the
support of the people to save Azerbaijan from the threat of destruction. S.
Mohbaliyev emphasized that Azerbaijan people have not forgotten his great son, the
wise politician who has determined the future development strategy of our
country and made important steps for its realization and will never forget it.
Noting
that the independent Azerbaijan, the founder of the Great Leader, is in good
hands today, the AHIK chairman underlined that the policy laid by National
Leader Heydar Aliyev was successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev. He
said that as a result of reputation of Azerbaijan in the world, our country has
attracted the attention of our country, becoming a venue for international
events. Today Azerbaijan is developing rapidly in all spheres, and it
strengthens its place among the world's states. Positive changes in the dynamic
development, rapid development of our country, implemented by President Ilham
Aliyev, extensive renovation and modernization of Azerbaijan, as well as the
introduction of our new Motherland in the new world are proof of the
continuation of the Great Leader's path.
The
event was attended by the chairman of the Republican Committee of the
Trade Union of State Organization and Public Service Workers H.Osmanov,
Chairman of the Cultural Workers' Union J.Sattarova, Chairman of the
Communications Workers 'Union S.Orujov, Chairman of the Railway Workers' Union
F. Bagirov, talked about the honorable and meaningful life of the National
Leader his way, rich statehood experience and outstanding service. It was noted
that great achievements were achieved under the leadership of President Ilham
Aliyev, who successfully continued his political course determined by the great
leader.
