The ATUC received a letter from the Turkish trade unions

22 Oct 2020

TURK-ISH Chairman of the Turkish Trade Unions Confederation Ergun Atalay has sent a letter to ATUC Chairman, MP Sattar Mohbaliyev. The letter says that on October 20, 2020, the Board of the Pan-European Regional Council (PERC) held a video meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, the TURK-ISH representative said that despite the UN resolutions supporting Azerbaijan's internationally accepted borders and demanding the immediate withdrawal of Armenia, Armenia continues its aggressive policy today.
In his speech, our representative condemned Armenia for its attacks on civilians and civilian settlements, and said that he insisted on not leaving the territory of Azerbaijan and continued the occupation.
At the event, the representative of TURK-ISH said that we should not remain silent against this violence and occupation and support our Azerbaijani brothers to the end, and criticized the fact that this issue was not included in the agenda of the PERC Board meeting.
In his letter, Ergun Atalay reaffirmed that our Confederation will continue to support our Azerbaijani brothers on all international platforms.
ATUC Chairman, MP Sattar Mohbaliyev in his reply letter to the Chairman of the TURK-ISH Trade Union Confederation thanked our Turkish brothers for their constant support in the war of justice waged by Azerbaijan.
