The implementation of social assistance programs for low-income families and people over the age of 65 living alone continues during the special quarantine regime declared to prevent the spread of new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in the country.
ATUC made a decision to join the Heydar
Aliyev Foundation’s social project in implementing public control, analyzing
citizens’ applications, offers and providing assistance to vulnerable groups in
various aspects.
Accordingly, ATUC transferred AZN 105
thousand to Regional Development Public Union (RDPU) to assist 1500 families
based on the donation agreement dated on April 13 with the Public Union, which
has been established on the initiative of ATUC and the Heydar Aliyev
Foundation.
