A webinar on the effects of social networks was held
07 Apr 2021
A webinar on "The role of youth in digital broadcasting and social networks" was organized by the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Cultural Workers.
The
webinar was opened by the chairman of the Republican Committee Jamila
Sattarova. A minute of silence was observed in memory of the heroic sons of the
martyrs of the Great Patriotic War under the slogan "Do not forget".
We talked about our successes in the battles of April 2016.
The chairman
noted that our young people remember this significant day with enthusiasm on
social networks. They remember the veterans and martyrs of those battles with
gratitude and share their photos. Such sharing increases the sense of
patriotism among our youth.
Sattarova
said that social networks are a world of interests. Whoever is interested in
any field, it is as if their clubs are formed.
For
example, doctors, economists, lawyers and other clubs.
Such
clubs also play an important role in increasing the professional knowledge of
users.
Social
networking has become an important part of our time. There is a great tendency
in this area, especially among young people. At first glance, online meeting,
communication, entertainment, exchange of ideas, etc. Social networks are
already becoming a source of global threat. Our young people, knowingly and
often unknowingly, share information that can even pose a threat to the state.
Another problem is that people use this platform without any responsibility in
order to discredit each other and tarnish those they do not like.
However,
the social network has great potential for the formation of society on good
traditions. In order to use these opportunities, government agencies, public
organizations must conduct propaganda and organizational work.
At the
end of his speech, the chairman called on the members of the union to be active
in the social network, not to spare their knowledge and skills for the
development of our society and the security of our statehood.
Other
speeches were made at the event, which was attended by chairmen and activists
of most of the union's bodies.
