Sattar Mehbaliyev, Chairman of ATUC is elected to the position of Vice President of Pan-Europe Regional Committee of ITUC

The 3rd General Assembly of International Trade Unions Confederation of Pan Europe Regional Committee was held at Brussels, the capital of Belgium on December 15.
Died
persons at the last terror acts and disasters are remembered for a minute at
the meeting with participation of more than 120 representatives of Trade Unions
of European Countries.
Meeting
is opened by the current president of PERC Mikhail Shmakhov and he spoke with a
report about activity of the organization. Then report about works executed for
the last period is heard, the activity program for the next year is discussed.
There
were made decisions for 2016-2019 years. about peace, democracy and stability,
new stages of crisis in Europe, labour market, wave of migration and refugees,
against increasing inequality, protection of labour and social rights, real
social dialogue, collective negotiations and other issues.
Then
voting for election of new structure of ITUC’s Pan Europe Regional Committee is
carried out.
Sattar Mehbaliyev, the Chairman of ATUC is
elected to the position of Vice President of Pan-Europe Regional Committee of
ITUC.
