“Baku Metro is a rare event in the history of Azerbaijani people”

Not an easy job. Each case has its own responsibility and difficulty. But who knows, metropolitanists know exactly what a metropolitan profession is, a word that unites dozens of areas and more than 140 professions.
Although it does not go beyond the borders of a single
city, it is a historical fact that the so-called "metropolitan"
celebrations mark their professional day. Underground palaces, road
construction heroes, and subway maintenance workers who work hard to build it
have the right to celebrate their professional holiday.
It is a very
interesting and historic event: "Metropolitan Baku is a unique event in
the centuries-old history of the Azerbaijani people," said the great
leader Heydar Aliyev. The successor has been appointed by President Ilham
Aliyev, and since 2006 it is a proud, proud and accountable day for
metropolitan subordinates.
More than
600,000 people a day, to a lesser extent, serve more than 700-800,000
passengers a day during the school year, noting that responsibility and
exemplary service. That is why I am proud and proud that today is the holiday
of every capital resident.
2019 - We are
also in the reporting year of what we regard as the beginning of a special
period in the history of the underground. As it is known, on February 27, 2014,
by the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev,
the Baku Metro was established through the merger of the Baku Metro and the
Azartunmetmetrotics. Thus, the two forces that give life to our underground
palaces - builders and explorers - are united in one organization and are now
sharing this joy. But this year we have another event: this year, the
organization, which was joined by builders and exploiters, completed its first
major reporting period - 5 years in February - so we have another reason to
report.
Talking about
the past 5 years, we can tell a lot about our success. During this period,
every area of the metropolitan area was covered with a special footprint. The
scale of the historic decision made by Mr President by creating a joint stock
company has justified itself. We have had many successes in 5 years. But I
don't take your time by listing them. I just remembered the events of the past
year, just the results. This year, six new trains consisting of 30 new wagons
were received. The number of new wagons has increased to 11. Passengers of the
renovated subway are beginning to feel it. One of the most important
innovations is the implementation of a special project on the metro after the
accident at the Mingachevir thermal power plant last year - the establishment
of diesel-generating plants as soon as possible. This may be another event that
increases the confidence of passengers in the subway.
Of course, let's also talk about our
renovated palaces. This year, our two stations were completely overhauled and
modernized. Both Bakmil and Shah Ismail Khatai serve passengers in a completely
different landscape. But most importantly, all these infrastructure-upgraded
stations have been the hard work of metro-builders to build new stations.
Of course, we
cannot forget the issue that is of special importance to our colleagues. The
training center, which was launched 5 years ago in Metro history and regulates
staff training, has recently received a status of pride and dignity.
Thereafter, we will have every reason to build the personnel training reliably.
The upgrading
of substations, artificial and natural ventilation systems, the construction of
the depot, and the introduction of systems for signaling the future, bringing
the concept of telecommunications to the Green and Red lines is no less than
our other innovations.
Over the past
five years, the Closed Joint Stock Company has changed not only this
organization but also its trade union organization to meet the requirements of
the new era. But by preserving and enriching historical traditions.
Let's look
at the work done by the Metropolitan Solidarity, the Metropolitan Union, and the
trade union movement, which played an indispensable role in the formation of
the metropolitan selflessness. We leave behind some remarkable years for our
