They discussed prospects for cooperation

On October 8-9, the international roundtable on “Realities and Challenges of the Period” was held in Nur-Sultan, the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in honor of the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Trade Union of Science and Education of Kazakhstan.
The "round table", which was attended by 110
delegates, discussed the status of teachers in modern society, the ways in
which global problems of science and education workers were addressed, and the
importance of exchanges.
The event was
attended by senior officials and specialists of the International Union of
Education, the European Trade Union Committee, the International Trade Union of
Science and Education Workers, the International Eurasian Trade Union of Trade
Unions, the International Labor Organization, the International Federation of
Trade Unions, Education Minister of the
Republic of Kazakhstan, MPs, rectors of higher education institutions of the
country, as well as representatives of trade union organizations from other
countries.
At the Round
Table, our country was represented by a delegation led by the First Deputy
Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Education
Workers of Azerbaijan (EITI) Humbat Nagiyev.
On October 9,
the XIV Congress of the Trade Union of Science and Education Workers of
Kazakhstan was held. At the congress, which was attended by 157 delegates,
Aygul Mukasheva unanimously elected vice-chairmen for 2019-2024, Viktor
Bejenarov and Aliya Abiyeva.
Within the
framework of the visit, the First Deputy Chairman of the UNESCO H. Nagiyev held
a meeting with Christina Blover, President of the European Trade Union
Committee and Secretary General Susan Floken, to discuss the prospects for
further cooperation.
