"Trade unions are preparing for the" Great Return ""

The counter-offensive operation of the Azerbaijani Army,
launched on September 27 under the leadership of the Supreme
Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, has intensified the fighting for
Karabakh, resulting in the liberation of our historical lands. Although the war
continued, many of our occupied villages and towns were liberated.
The people of Azerbaijan are so sure that Shusha,
Khankendi, Lachin, Kalbajar and Aghdam will be liberated soon that they are
already making plans for the day when we will return to our native lands.
The Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan is also
preparing for the "Great Return" during the war, and is considering
programs for restoration work in the liberated areas.
Armenians have plundered everything to erase our history
and traces from our lands. All our historical monuments, museums, cemeteries,
mosques, buildings of historical significance, memorial springs have been
destroyed.
Unfortunately, the Armenian occupation did not go
unnoticed by the trade unions' resorts, sanatoriums and medical institutions.
Before the occupation, “Shusha Rest House” of “Kurort” Joint-Stock Company
subordinated to the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, “Isti-Su” sanatorium
in Kalbajar, 200-bed boarding house of “Azerbkolkhozlarasalaglamlig” Republican
Union in Gubadli region and 320 fish farm “Farel” in Jabray village There was a
children's recreation center, Gulabli sanatorium and Nur children's rest house
in Gulabli village of Aghdam region, 255-bed sanatorium, Shafa in Shusha city
of the Azerbaijan Tourism and Excursions Council, and Shahbulag tourist bases
in Aghdam. Unfortunately, these health centers fell victim to Armenian
vandalism and were destroyed.
It is planned to fully restore the activities of the
occupied, occupied sanatoriums and treatment centers within the ATUC, to build
new medical institutions and rest homes.
After the liberation, the Karabakh region as a tourist
paradise will be in the center of everyone's attention, beautiful sanatoriums
and medical institutions will be built in our native lands as before. The
conditions will be much better than before. Our native cities and villages will
become one of the most beautiful corners of the world.
At the same time, sports grounds, chess schools and other
sports facilities belonging to the trade unions in the liberated areas will be
reconstructed and put into use by the younger generation.
For the first time, Trade Union Centers will be
established in our cities liberated by the ATUC and new administrative
buildings will be built for them.
We are confident that the victorious Azerbaijani Army
under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev will soon
liberate our lands from occupation. After the restoration of the territorial
integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Confederation of Trade Unions of
Azerbaijan, like other bodies, will work hard in all constructive work and
fulfill its duties with dignity.
