Macron

08 Oct 2020

It is the position of some foreign countries, including French President Emmanuel Macron, one of the OSCE co-chairs, on the liberation of our territories occupied by the Armenian armed forces for almost 30 years as a result of counter-offensive operations of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces that compelled me to write this article.

I wonder why Emmanuel Macron was so "concerned" about the confident steps taken by the victorious Azerbaijani army under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of our Armed Forces, to resolve the problem that has been frozen for almost 30 years by the OSCE Minsk Group. ?
Today, Macron has made France a prisoner of the fascist policy of Armenia. It would be understandable if he only invited the parties to peace in the military operations that took place as the head of one of the three co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, which is responsible for resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. However, the French president behaves not as the head of the co-chairing state, but as a spokesman for the occupying country, openly sits next to the main cause of the conflict, sacrificing the interests of his country to the fascist policy of the occupying Armenia.
Why, why, in return for what? These questions are relevant against the background of the development of events, circulating misinformation, Macron's position contrary to international law and the mediation mission.
Starting from September 27, Armenia has targeted settlements and civilians in all frontline areas. The Azerbaijani Army dealt a serious blow to the occupying country with counter-operations and liberated some of the occupied territories. At present, the operations to clear our territories of the enemy are continuing successfully.
Seeing the defeat of Armenia, E. Macron, without any serious facts, gave false information about the alleged involvement of mercenaries from Syria and Libya in the hostilities on the Azerbaijani side. In doing so, Macron is proving that he is not adequate for the presidency of a country like France, citing false information. The aim is to create a false image of Azerbaijan, to draw the attention of the international community to the region and to stop operations to liberate the occupied territories. It is known that this is in the interest of the occupying country.
However, in contrast to Azerbaijan, there is clear evidence that today in the Armenian army, along with PKK terrorists, ethnic Armenians recruited from various foreign countries are fighting against the Azerbaijani armed forces. Armenian President Armen Sargsyan said in an interview with Algeria's Al Jazeera television that this was not unusual, acknowledging that ethnic Armenians were fighting in the Armenian armed forces.
In this way, the French president proved that France supports the occupation, not peace, calls into question the co-chairs of the Minsk Group, and violates international law, which supports the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
In general, the heads of state of France have always supported the Armenians. In this regard, Emmanuel Macron is no exception. Participates in events of Armenian organizations, attends annual meetings. He even promised them last year that France would mark the day of remembrance of the "Armenian genocide" and celebrate it every year. Of course, it is absurd to expect a different position from the head of state who supports the Armenians in this way.
Rightly, I have a question about what Macron's earnings are.
I think that elections are coming and Macron understands that the results will not be good for him against the background of a rapidly declining rating.
A report released by some research companies last week shows that the French president and the government as a whole have seen their ratings plummet. According to the report, the number of supporters of Macron fell by 7% over the past month. The main reason for the loss of confidence in Macron is the problems of the population, including the non-fulfillment of the legitimate demands of the yellow cardholders on socio-economic issues in France for almost 2 years, the creation of conditions for human rights violations and other problems. is to take an unnecessarily rigid position.
In this case, the strong Armenian diaspora and the Armenian electorate in France come to the fore. Apparently, E. Macron sees Armenian voters in the next elections as a "way out". This is one of the main reasons why Macron is openly pro-Armenian, even if it is against his national interests. "We will all resist together," he said. The promise he made to Armenia with the words "Be sure" was in fact a promise made to the Armenian voters in France.
