08 Nov 2019

On November 8, the Military Lyceum named after Jamshid Nakhchivanski hosted an event dedicated to the National Flag Day.

The spectacular banquet that cadets made across the hall on their shoulders was greeted by the audience with applause. In the official part there were speeches about our Motherland, our land and our sacred flag.
Speaking at the event, ATUC representative H. Bagirova conveyed the congratulatory message of the chairman of the ATUC, MP Sattar Mohbaliyev to the commanders and cadets. He said the military lyceum has been undergoing a cultural pregnancy for nearly 20 years. During these years, young high school students regularly attend cultural events, contests, sports competitions on patriotism, awarding diplomas and valuable gifts to the winners of the course, field diplomas and prizes. Our organization continues its mission of solidarity by conducting such events, which are of great importance in shaping the outlook of young people. We believe that the cadets we discover today will achieve even greater success in the future, as future officers of our army will be guarding our homeland and our lands.
Then diplomas and valuable prizes, as well as cash prizes of the Republican Trade Union Committees were presented to the cadets and the winners of the essay competition dedicated to the National Flag Day. Sabina Gafarova, the Azerbaijani language and literature teacher at the school, was awarded the Honorary Diploma of the ATUC.
The choreographic composition, dedicated to the flag, performed by the Aysel dance ensemble, organized by the Culture and Tourism Administration, accompanied by Asif Hajiyev's son-in-law, vocalist Nurlan Azizbeyli, performed by the audience.
At the end of the event, Deputy Head of the Lyceum for Personnel, Colonel Muslim Nasibov thanked all the participants. He thanked the ECHR for the attention and care shown to young people, noting that the mission of this partnership played a great role in the education of young people in the military patriotism.
