Hundreds of thousands of people across the country are
waving the Azerbaijani flag in the streets and avenues of the capital and other
cities and regions, sharing the joy of Shusha's victory.
Our historic victory - the liberation of Shusha - once
again showed that the blood of our martyrs does not remain on the ground. As
stated by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, we have won our glorious
victory on the battlefield. Every Azerbaijani was sure that sooner or later we will
return to our historical land, Shusha, which has been occupied for 28 years -
our cradle of culture. As stated by our President, our work could not be
considered complete without Shusha.
History has shown that the independent policy pursued by
the President of Azerbaijan during this period has made our country a spokesman
both in the region and in the world. The strengthening of our country's
position has helped to change the situation around the conflict in our favor.
Along with expanding its military capabilities, Azerbaijan has also become a
dictator on the diplomatic front. Now Azerbaijan is fighting the enemy alone on
the battlefield, and our territorial integrity is being liberated step by step.
The waving of our tricolor flag in the beating heart of Karabakh - Shusha -
makes each of us proud. Until the last day, the enemy was trying to deceive
both his own community and the international community by spreading false
information about Shusha. But the glorious Azerbaijani Army resolutely
fulfilled the task of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. As Shusha is a
psychological barrier for the occupying country, the enemy is currently in a
hysterical state.
It seems that we are successfully continuing the just
struggle we have been fighting for years for our cause on the battlefield. It
is safe to say that we will soon celebrate the day when our other territories
were liberated and make Karabakh one of the most prosperous regions in the
world.
First of all, among the nuances that should be noted,
this point deserves special attention, that the national unity of our people is
at the root of our victory. From the day the counter-offensive began, like all
the people of Azerbaijan, the political parties operating in the country united
around the head of state like a fist and unconditionally supported him. It is
no coincidence that immediately after the announcement of the liberation of
Shusha, 50 political parties operating in Azerbaijan sent a congratulatory
letter to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev. The party
leaders stressed that the recent history of Azerbaijan was written in golden
letters as a result of the policy successfully pursued by Ilham Aliyev during
his years in power, and this was due to the broad outlook, political foresight,
diplomatic skills, military-strategic genius, economic reforms, high confidence
