The memory of our martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence

Today, the memory of those killed in the Great Patriotic War was commemorated.
According
to the decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev, the memory of the martyrs of
the Great Patriotic War, who sacrificed their lives for the territorial
integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was commemorated today, December 4, at
12:00 with a minute of silence.
It should be noted that commemoration
ceremonies of the martyrs of the Great Patriotic War are being held today in
mosques, churches and synagogues in all cities and regions of Azerbaijan.
The icon
of the Day of Remembrance is "Khari Bulbul", which is considered a
symbol of Shusha.
2,783 servicemen of our Armed Forces were killed
in the Patriotic War. Among them, work is underway to identify 103 servicemen
by DNA analysis. More than 100 servicemen are missing. Necessary measures are
being taken to find them and inform their families. At present, 1,245
servicemen are being treated in medical institutions.
