According to the decision of the Executive Committee of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan, children under the age of 18 of servicemen killed for the Motherland during the April 2016 battles and the July 2020 battles were taken under the protection of trade unions.
According
to the decision, 41 children of 23 martyrs were registered for adoption.
In this
regard, a meeting was held at the Trade Union of Motor Transport and Road
Workers of Azerbaijan with the wife of Major Velizadeh Urfan Uzeyir oglu
Velizadeh Konul Nariman, who rose to the peak of martyrdom during the April
2016 battles.
During
the meeting, Chairman of the Trade Union of Motor Transport and Road Workers
Huseyn Karimov said that the memory of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives
for the Motherland will always be honored. The chairman noted that according to
the decision of the ATUC Executive Committee, two minor children of the
martyred Major Urfan Velizadeh - 12-year-old Zahra and 5-year-old Betul
Velizadeh under the age of 18 were taken under the auspices of the Azerbaijan
Motor Transport and Road Workers' Trade Union. will be.
