The blood of our sons who died for the homeland will not remain on the ground

The Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan has issued a statement on the provocation committed by the Armenian armed forces in the border area in the direction of Tovuz.
The statement said:
"The provocation committed by the Armenian armed
forces on the border line in the direction of Tovuz region on July 12 has
caused deep anger among many members of the Azerbaijani Trade Unions. The fact
that the provocation took place outside the Nagorno-Karabakh region shows its
ugly nature and the intention of the Armenian side to create artificial tension
on the line of contact. It is not a new tactic for the dictatorial regime of
Armenia, which has lost all support in its country, to try to evade the anger
of the people by creating provocations on the front. The Armed Forces of
Azerbaijan, regardless of the reasons, our heroic soldiers have always responded
to every provocation committed by the Armenian side on the front line, and put
the enemy in place with heavy blows.
The battles in the direction of Tovuz due to the Armenian
provocation can be considered a new example of the fighting power, moral and
psychological superiority of the Azerbaijani Army, the heroism of our soldiers
and officers, the fighting prowess. Our Armed Forces, under the wise leadership
of our Supreme Commander-in-Chief, have once again demonstrated their readiness
to immediately prevent any Armenian provocation and protect every inch of our
land.
As the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan, we
always declare our unity with our heroic Army. Our Supreme Commander-in-Chief,
Mr. Ilham Aliyev, can be sure that by his order we are always ready to show
selflessness and heroism on the way to the Motherland. We deeply believe that our
Armed Forces will continue to respond to any provocation of the enemy, liberate
our occupied lands, and not shed the blood of all our martyrs who died on the
way to the Motherland.
