at the opening of the training course, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social
Protection Anar Aliyev said that there is a broad agenda of cooperation between
the ILO and Azerbaijan, which marks its 100 th jubilee this year. She has
significantly expanded the scope of joint projects in the Country Program for
the Decent Work for 2016-2020. This next training course, organized within the
framework of the program, is a valuable contribution to raising the level of
knowledge and professionalism of the employees of the State Employment Service

best practices in the field.

Unions of Azerbaijan, Javanshir
Alkhasov, highlighted the main objectives of the Trade Union's youth policy and the measures it has taken to
achieve these goals. About one-fourth of the trade union members are young people under the age of 30. Realistic steps
are being taken to ensure that boys and girls with work ability can compete in
the labor market. Regular studies are conducted, problems are identified.
Alkhasov said that the General Collective Agreement,
which we have concluded with our partners, has also been widely employed by
young people. This document envisages increasing the employment opportunities
of young people, reinforcing the control
over the rehabilitation of youth
displaced persons in their previous jobs and duties, assisting children with
disabilities in state-run child care facilities and providing jobs and other issues. The issue of "employment of Azerbaijani youth and the
positions of trade unions" was
discussed at the Executive Committee of the Azerbaijan Trade Union
