The Confederation of Trade Unions will allocate 200,000 manat for the organization of self-employment

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population and the Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation (ATUC) have signed a memorandum of cooperation to assist in the organization of self-employment of vulnerable groups.
According to the memorandum, the Ministry will provide
the ATUC with information on vulnerable groups (people with disabilities,
low-income families, etc.) who apply for self-employment. The Confederation
will participate in the implementation of the program, providing participants
with assets.
Selection of vulnerable groups to be involved in the
program from among those registered as unemployed and job seekers, promotion of
service and production preferences within the program, organization of
trainings on business plan development, monitoring of business plan
implementation, etc. cooperation will be implemented in the following areas.
