On October 9, the Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation (AHIC) announced the grant of the Azerbaijan Republic of Free Trade Union Committee (EITI) for high school students who are excellent and active union members based on the results of the summer exam session for the 2018-2019 academic year. The event was held.
At the
event, the chairman of the ATUC, MP Sattar Mokhbaliyev spoke about the state
youth policy implemented in Azerbaijan. Speaking about the support of trade
union organizations for youth policy, Sattar Mohbaliyev said that in this
regard, the ITUAI organizes various intellectual games, sports competitions and
works to effectively organize leisure time for youth. Steps are being taken to
strengthen the social security of students from low-income families. Thus,
every year more than 220 students from low-income families are provided with
free meals by the Republican Committee.
Then, following the
results of the summer exam session, 64 high school students, who were excellent
and trade union activists, were awarded the Republican Committee's scholarship.
It was noted that in

science and education. Of these, 2331 students, who have been successful at the
end of the winter and summer sessions in higher education, have benefited from
this scholarship.
