The meeting was held with the employees of the Literature Institute named after Nizami at the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation

On November 19, the meeting was held at the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation with the staff of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan of the Institute of Literature named after Nizami.
The
meeting was opened by the chairman of the Confederation of Trade Unions of
Azerbaijan, MP Sattar Mohbaliyev, congratulating the participants on the 85th
anniversary of the Literary Institute and wishing them success in their
scientific work.

told that by the decision of the executive committee on the occasion of the
anniversary of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation , 27 employees of the
institute were awarded honorary decrees of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation and 17 people were awarded valuable prizes. On
behalf of the Executive Committee S.Mohbaliyev congratulated the participants on the
anniversary and wished them success in their difficult and glorious work.
He
also said that his organization was always attentive to the issues and problems
of scientists working in the system of the National Academy of Sciences. Their
treatment, leisure and any questions, problems did not go without attention.
We, as trade unions, are obliged to provide all possible assistance to these
people. We always allocate funds for various events in the Academy. Our whole
nation respects and is proud of its scientists. You are the people who protect
our language. The staff of your institute made a great contribution to the
writing of scientific literatur. I wish you good health, success and scientific
achievements. Once again I congratulate you on your anniversary.
Director
of the Institute of Literature, Vice-President of the National Academy of
Sciences of Azerbaijan, Chairman of the Committee on Science and Education of
the Parlament, Academician Isa Habibbeyli said that the anniversary of the
Institute of Literature has become a major public event in the country. He
thanked President Ilham Aliyev for his contribution to the development of
science in Azerbaijan and noted that these awards express the concern of the
state with the Institute of Literature as a whole and believe that the work of the institutions are a
high appreciation of its employees. The
staff of our institute highly appreciates this concern of the state and will
continue to support the policy of President Ilham Aliyev.
The
academician noted that the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan makes a
great contribution to the development of science and education in the country,
carries out joint projects with the Ministry of Education, organizes various
competitions among university students, awards them with scholarships and
organizes other similar events. We appreciate the work of the leadership of the
Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani trade unions play a
large role and have a great influence in the socio-political life of our
country. The Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan also has an excellent
reputation among international trade unions, national trade union centers, and
actively participates in solving various global problems. Due to the reputation, Sattar Mohbaliyev,
chairman of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan, doctor of economic
sciences, professor, member of parliament, is also the vice-president of the
International Trade Union Confederation.
Academician
I. Habibbeyli also said that after the next congress of the International
Confederation of Trade Unions, which will be held in Denmark, Sattar Mohbaliyev
will again be nominated for this post, and we hope that he will be re-elected.
As scientists, we highly appreciate all of this and consider this a great
contribution to strengthening the image of Azerbaijan and the successful policy
pursued by the President of Azerbaijan.
Then
academician I. Habibbeyli presented S. Mohbaliyev the book “Khosrov and Shirin”
prepared by the Literary Institute of Nizami Ganjavi. At the meeting on behalf
of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan employees of the Institute
of Literature were presented with honorary decrees and valuable gifts. The
winners expressed their sincere thanks to the chairman of the Confederation of
Trade Unions of Azerbaijan.
