The next meeting of the ATUC Executive Committee was held

The next meeting of the Executive Committee of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation was held. A number of issues were discussed at the online meeting.
Opening the event, ATUC Chairman, MP Sattar Mohbaliyev spoke
about the great victory of our country in the war. He noted that "the
victory of our army in the 44-day Patriotic War under the leadership of Supreme
Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial
integrity as a result of the liberation of our historical territories by ending
the Armenian occupation is a historic event." Demonstration of the
equipment we received from the enemy as booty to the whole world made every
Azerbaijani citizen proud.
Another important aspect of the victory was President
Ilham Aliyev's high determination and resilience to international pressure
during the war. As a result, the Azerbaijani public rightly accepted Ilham
Aliyev's determination as one of the main conditions for our victory. "
Touching upon the next issue on the agenda, the ATUC
chairman stressed that "in connection with the protection of the
territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the provision of the
wounded and martyrs' families has always been in the center of the state's
attention." As a result, another tool has been created to support the
families of the sons of the fatherland who sacrificed their lives to restore
the country's territorial integrity. "
At the meeting of the Executive Committee, member and
subordinate organizations were recommended to make donations to the
"YASHAT" fund.
Then a decision was made to raise funds for the Fund in
front of all member and subordinate organizations, including the Confederation
of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan.
In conclusion, the chairman noted that we, as trade
unions, will continue to support the policy pursued by the Supreme
Commander-in-Chief, and will be closely involved in the restoration and
improvement of the liberated territories.
