The next meeting of the Executive Committee of the ATUC was held

The next meeting of the Executive Committee of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan was held on January 14.

Speaking at the introductory speech, the chairman of the ATUC, MP Sattar Mohbaliyev presented the agenda.
Initially, the work plan of the Executive Committee and the Confederation was approved.
Then the issue of the state of timely submission of statistical reports by member organizations in accordance with the requirements of the ATUC resolution dated October 24, 2013 (pr.261) on the "Annual Report of Trade Union Organizations". The annual reports of trade union organizations play an important role in improving the structure of trade unions, the establishment of new trade union organizations, the restoration and increasing the number of trade union members.
Statistical reports collected from member organizations of the Trade Unions Federation (Service-Business), Railway Workers, Education, Aviation, Electrical and Electrical Industry Trade Union, etc. were discussed in the elected bodies. Decisions have been made to address the shortcomings revealed and delivered to primary organizations by mail and electronic means.
The next issue was "On the analytical analysis of morbidity rates among the population of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2017-2018". The report to the Executive Committee said that dynamic development of health in Azerbaijan was ensured, new medical facilities were built and put into operation, the existing medical facilities were renovated and equipped with modern medical equipment, and the medical and diagnostic issues were solved. At the instruction of President Ilham Aliyev, about 5 million citizens of Azerbaijan get access to free dispensary observation every year. There are modern medical centers in all regions of Azerbaijan. As a result, there is no need to visit Baku from the regions for examination and treatment. The positive results of the socially oriented policy implemented in the country are reflected in the medical and demographic indicators. Protection of the health of the population, including working citizens, providing them with high-quality medical care, is one of the main tasks of the republican trade union organizations. As a result of the measures taken, in some areas there has been a reduction in working days due to temporary disability.
Unfortunately, it is still possible to reduce the percentage of certain diseases that lead to the loss of working time. Trade union organizations should conduct research and analysis and develop and implement an action plan in this area together with partners and relevant agencies.
The meeting also discussed the issue "On allocation of funds from the budget of the relevant executive authority for social security and defense to the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation for the implementation of sanatorium and spa treatment and health measures for insured persons."
At the end, S.Mohbaliyev made a closing speech. He commented on the reports and expressed his views and recommendations. He said that at the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev serious, large-scale reforms are underway in our country. In the true sense of the word, in the essence of these revolutionary reforms are the goals of "Strong Azerbaijan, Secured Citizen". People already see the benefits of these reforms in their lives and benefit from it.
He spoke about the two social packages signed by the President last year. He said that these reform packages put Azerbaijan in the forefront of the welfare of the region's population.
The chairman of the ATUC recalled the speech of the head of state at a meeting with President Ilham Aliyev at the end of 2019. The trade union, which unites hundreds of thousands of members, should also make every effort to realize the domestic policy pursued by our state in the name of prosperity and prosperity of our people. "
