Delegation of ATUC attended the congress of Georgian Trade Unions

13th Congress of Georgian Trade Unions was held on 14-15 September in Tbilisi. International Trade Unions Confederation, International Labor Organization and representatives of trade unions centers of Europe and NIS countries also attended the afore said congress.
Report of Chairman of Georgian Trade
Unions was heard at the congress. In his report he noted that Georgian Trade
Unions cooperated with international organizations and with the trade union
centers of world’s leading countries.
Delegation headed by Chairman of ATUC, Vice-President of International
Trade Unions Confederation, Member of Parliament Sattar Mohbaliyev also
participated in this congress. Chairman of ATUC met with the General Secretary
of International Trade Unions Confederation Sharon Barrow and with the
representatives of trade union centers of various countries. ATUC and
international organizations, expansion of cooperation between trade union
centers of different countries and other issues were discussed in the congress.
Vice-chairman of ATUC Agil Dadasov also attended the congress. Irakli
Petriashvili was reelected as a chairman of Georgian Trade Unions in the
congress.
