They say that this organization has done its duty uncompromisingly at the time
of the totalitarian, socialist regime, and has demonstrated an unbalanced
position against the pressure of the authorities. The speakers praised the role
and place of the Confederation and its member organizations in the regulation
of socio-economic processes in modern Bulgaria, the protection of workers'
labor rights.
Secretary General of the International
Trade Union Confederation, Mrs. Sharan Barrou, emphasized that the trade union
of Bulgaria has a great reputation not only within the country but also in
Europe as a whole. He characterized him as a carrier of national interests. The
reason for his reputation is that the organization is constantly standing by
members.
