The chairman of the ATUC was awarded with two more awards

Chairman of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan, Professor Sattar Mohbaliyev was awarded the Order of the European Leader Star and the International Honorary Person of the Year for his services in the field of world economy and culture.
S.Mohbaliyev,
as chairman of the ATUC, has worked in trade unions for reforms, protection of
its property, adoption of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Trade
Unions, establishment of trade unions, establishment of transnational corporations.
As a result of S.Mohbaliyev's efforts, the ATUC is one of the first members of
the Confederation of International Trade Unions in the CIS.
S.Mohbaliyev
takes an active part in the socio-political life of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Member
of several state commissions created in the Republic on reforms, Member of
Parliament, Head of Polish-Azerbaijani working group on interparliamentary
relations, member of working group on interparliamentary relations between
Azerbaijan and Moldova, Committee on Public Associations and Religious
Organizations of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan Republic, ITUC Member of
the Executive Committee of the Board of Chairs, Confederation of Trade Unions.
He has
been Vice President of the ITUC since 2014, and since 2015 of the Pan European
Regional Council.
In 2019
he was re-elected as Vice President of
PERC.
He is
Doctor of Economics, Professor. "Azerbaijan Today: Problems of Employment
and Social Partnership", "Labor Market and Employment Policy in
Transition", "Theoretical - Theoretical Basis of Labor Market,
Employment and Unemployment", "International Labor Organization:

He was awarded the Order of Glory of the Republic
of Azerbaijan, the Honorary Diploma of the President of the Republic of

Gold Medal of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Russian Federation
of Communications Workers, Member of the International Academy of Sciences of
the Turkic World and the Russian Academy of Social Sciences, by the decision of
the International Committee of the United Nations (Geneva), the outstanding
thinker Gotfried Wilhelm Leibnis and the honorary title of "Ambassador of
