ATUC Chairman, MP Sattar Mohbaliyev got acquainted with the repair work carried out at the Academy of Labor and Social Relations

Chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (ATUC), MP Sattar Mohbaliyev got acquainted with the reconstruction and repair work carried out in the building of the Azerbaijan Academy of Labor and Social Relations.

Mohbaliyev first inspected the yard of the academy and inquired about the landscaping work. It should be noted that the area at the back and sides of the building was asphalted, the square in front was paved with granite, new trees and flower bushes were planted.

Then the ATUC chairman got acquainted with the work carried out in the rooms for teachers, teaching halls for students, conference hall for various events, assembly hall, library and reading hall.

Rector of the Academy Huseyn Garashov informed the ATUC chairman about the work done. It was noted that the repair work covers all faculties, the walls and ceiling of the rooms are painted, new parquet is laid on the floor, window frames are replaced with new ones.

The ATUC chairman also inspected the student dormitory of the academy, got acquainted with the conditions created and gave recommendations to solve the existing problems. The chairman, in turn, brought to the attention of the leadership of the academy a number of shortcomings, noting that the Confederation will provide appropriate support in resolving such issues.

Later, Mohbaliyev visited the ATUC member organizations located in the building, toured the rooms, talked to the employees and listened to their problems. It was noted that the office rooms where some organizations are located need to be repaired, creating more comfortable and safe working conditions for employees.
