Chairman of ATUC, MP Sattar Mehbaliyev familiarized with conditions in Nabran recreation centers

Every year, through trade unions, over 100,000 citizens gain the opportunity to spend time with their families in the charming corners of Azerbaijan.
These citizens are able to rest at the highest level both
on the balance of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan, as well as
in private recreation centers and sanatoriums, paying only 15% of their
services. In addition, during the year more than 8,000 children will be able to
relax in children's recreation centers.
A purposeful effort is being made to further increase the
number of vacationers in the future. As a result of high state care, all
recreation centers on the AHIC balance have been reconstructed and all
conditions for rest have been created.
This was
announced on July 23 by the chairman of the ATUC, MP Sattar Mehbaliyev, during
a tour of Nabran recreation centers.
Sattar Mehbaliyev
toured the residential buildings in the Education Center Recreation Center of
the Azerbaijan Trade Union Free Trade Union Committee and familiarized himself
with bedrooms and infrastructure.
The recreation
center can accommodate 260 people at the same time. In 2013, the center opened
a modern hotel, cottages, mini-stadiums, swimming pool, first aid room, and
internet club for educational workers' rest. In total there are about 1,500
members of the trade union during the season.
Speaking with
peaceful people in the center, S. Mehbaliyev was interested in the conditions
here and listened to their opinions and suggestions.
The chairman
of the ATUC said the commissioning of such a recreation center in Nabran is an
indicator of the care and attention of our state's education workers. He said
that the activities on the health of the members of the trade union and their
families, organization of sanatorium-and-spa treatments and rest will continue.
“In Nabran,
along with education workers, there are railroads, communications and trade
unions of other government agencies, which are up to date. A recreation center
for cultural workers is currently under construction. The purpose of the visit
to the recreation centers is to get acquainted with the conditions here, to
monitor the maintenance and quality of the facilities. All rooms are equipped
with refrigerators and air conditioning. The sanatorium is fully equipped with
all necessary equipment, including medical centers, recreation areas, sports
facilities. In short, all conditions have been created for the convenience of
trade union members ” said the chairman of the ATUC.
The chairman
noted that all this was possible due to the revival of the national economy
after the return of national leader Haydar Aliyev to power. The financial potential of the ATUC has since
improved.
After familiarization with
"Education" Recreation Center, ATUC Chairman also visited
"Ulfat" and "Locomotive" and "Khazar" Recreation
Centers of the Independent Trade Union of Railways, located in Nabran inquired.
Three restrooms for 140 people and
a dining room for 220 people were originally built at the Lokomotiv Recreation
Center, which was launched in August 2008. In the following years, two
additional buildings, a swimming pool for adults and children, have been built
in the recreation center. In addition, a modern volleyball lounge, tennis hall,
fitness room, mini football and volleyball courts are provided with all
necessary equipment.
Ulfat
Recreation Center has been in operation for nine years. Located a kilometer
away from the sea, the center has cottages and three two-storey restrooms. It
can accommodate 96 people at the same time and about 1,000 people during the
season.
