ATUC Chairman Sattar Mehbaliyev meets with veterans of Karabakh war and invalids

On August 9, the chairman of ATUC, MP Sattar Mehbaliyev met with veterans of the Karabakh war.
The chairman of the ATUC congratulated the war
participants and their families on the occasion of the Kurban holiday.
Mehbaliyev said that the government has increased the
respect and care for war veterans and families of martyrs, and concrete
measures are being taken to improve their living conditions and social welfare.
This year, the President has increased the monthly allowance for martyrs'
families from 242 to 300 manat, and social benefits and pensions for war
invalids have been increased by 100 percent, the President's monthly pension
for servicemen of the I group (including invalids of the first group of war
veterans) was done. Families of martyrs and war veterans will be given a car
and their apartments will continue to be provided. Chairman said that the
Armenian prime minister's visit to the occupied territories of Azerbaijan poses
new threats to the region. Armenia overlooks the norms and principles of
international law and undermines the negotiation process mediated by the OSCE
Minsk Group co-chairs on the Armenian-Azerbaijani Daglık-Karabakh conflict. The
chairman said the Karabakh war veterans and the disabled were always in the
spotlight of the ATUC. He also noted that he had regular meetings with them,
had a special sensitivity to the solution of their problems, and took steps to
rest and organize treatment. They expressed their gratitude to President Ilham
Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva for their attention and care.They
noted that we are very pleased with the chairman of the ATUC Sattar Mohabaliyev. When we call, they
receive us and help us.
In the end, each of the participants of the meeting was provided with
financial aid on the occasion of the holiday.
