Presidium of Independent Trade Union of Education Workers held a meeting

On 17 April, the Presidium of the Republican Committee of Independent Trade Union of Education Workers held a meeting.
Chairmen of all city and district trade
union committees as well as trade union committees with district rights that
are part of the Republican Committee attended the meeting moderated by the
chairman of ITUEW Republican Committee, MP Sattar Mohbaliyev.
S.Mohbaliyev first presented the agenda
to the Presidium members and then the agenda was put to the vote and adopted.
The agenda, in addition to current
issues, covered “status of receiving, considering applications and complaints
of citizens at the Republican Committee of Independent Trade Union of Education
Workers and member organizations in 2018”, “statistical reports on 2018 results
of the Republican Committee of Independent Trade Union of Education Workers
member organizations”, “realization of the budget of the Republican Committee
of Independent Trade Union of Education Workers in accordance with the 2018
results”.
The deputy chairman of ITUEW Mirza
Jafarzada stated that requests of union members in this period had been
analyzed carefully, and they had been assisted properly.
The chief of the RC’s organizational
department Emil Rustamov presented overall annual statistical report for 2018. In
his speech he noted the increase in the number of trade union members during
the said period. The number of members has become 379053.
The chairman of the RC said either the
Republican or member organizations should be sensitive to received requests and
seek to deal with their problems: “No indifference should be shown. Every
visitor should be received and listened to. We should try to help them to solve
problems within the powers we have. Especially, we should be careful in cases of
dismissals”.
