Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation held the meeting of its 3rd assembly

On December 25, Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation held the meeting of its 3rd assembly. Organizational matters were discussed at the meeting. Assembly members, regional and city trade unions representative participated in this meeting.
Report on the theme "Children Labor: current situation and future steps" were heard at the meeting of Assembly. Chairman of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, Member of Parliament Sattar Mehbaliyev made a report and noted that every citizen in each country can realize his/her labor ability in any form permitted by law. The Constitutional Norms can be also applied to children along with other members of society. Of course we can’t refer these norms to all children. These norms can be applied to those children who have reached a certain age and whose state of health allows them to work.
Head of the State Labor Inspector Service Fuad Alizada, national coordinator of ILO Baku Office Yashar Hamzayev addressed and told about existing problems and their solution ways at the 3rd assembly of Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation.
