On 22 October was held The regular meeting of the Executive Committee of the Pan-European Regional Council in Brussels

The event was opened by the President of the organization and the President of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Georgia Irakli Petriashvili. 

The minutes of the previous meeting of the Executive Committee were approved. The Executive Secretary of the organization, Anton Leppik, presented the annual report and work plan for the next year. Then the reports of committees of youth and women were heard and approved.
At the meeting, the Director of the European Region of the European Region of the International Labor Organization Heinz Koller informed the participants. He noted that in recent years, the ILO had held numerous events, seminars and scientific and practical conferences on priority issues in the region. In May of this year, he emphasized a conference held in Baku with the participation of the ILO Director-General Guy Ryder. He noted that the ILO regional office, as well as monitoring the implementation of international conventions adopted in European countries, helped unions.
The preparatory work for the congress of the International Trade Union Confederation  was  also  discussed at  the   meeting , which will be held in December. it was noted that the list of participants has already been prepared, all the technical work has been completed. The initial agenda of the congress was sent to member organizations.
The meeting was also attended by elected representatives of the International Confederation of Trade Unions in the European region. The candidates to be nominated are the vice presidents, the head of the General Council and the list of members of the Executive Committee.

Wages in Europe were also discussed at the meeting of the Executive Committee. President of the European Trade Unions Confederation Luca Ventsini delivered a speech to the participants of the meeting. The Secretary-General of the UN General Assembly, Shang Barrow, said that the head of the organization is campaigning on issues related to wages on a global scale. Then there was a lot of talk about the difficulties faced by trade unions in Kazakhstan, Belarus and Turkey, and about the help they can bring to the organization.

The event was attended by Vice-President of the International Confederation of Trade Unions and the Pan-European Regional Council, member of the Executive Committee, Chairman of the   Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, member of the Parliament Sattar Mehbaliyev. He commented on the issues on the agenda and said that he would continue to provide the necessary support to the organization.
