Employees of Azerbaijani Education Workers' Free Trade Union organize Novruz celebration in Horadiz settlement and Cocuq Marjanli

The Azerbaijani Public Council for Educational Workers of Free Trade Unions has organized a cultural event on the occasion of the Novruz Holiday for the soldiers and officers of the State Border Service's military unit in Horadiz settlement of Fuzuli region.
At the meeting the memory of the heroes who lost their
lives for the sake of sovereignty of Azerbaijan was celebrated with a minute of
silence and the national anthem. Deputy Chairman of the Republican Committee of
Free Trade Unions of Azerbaijan Education Workers Mirza Jafarzadeh started his
speech with the words of national leader Heydar Aliyev, "The Azerbaijani
army is the basis of our independence". It was noted that after the
National Leader's return to power, great progress and development took place in
the army building. At present,
President Ilham Aliyev Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces is also
implementing a successful policy towards strengthening our army. M.Jafarzadeh
said that organization of meetings with soldiers every year at the initiative
of Sattar Mogbalaliev, the chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation
will give a great impetus to the upbringing of the younger generation in the
spirit of patriotism. It was reported that the soldiers were also
brought in various supplies.
The border guards said they were honored and proud to
support the state border of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the Supreme
Commander-in-Chief of President Ilham Aliyev. They expressed confidence that
the territorial integrity of our country will be restored and that the
protection of the state borders in the occupied territories will be organized. The
event was followed by an interesting concert program of the collective of trade
unions of Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts. Employees of the
committee also met with the teachers and pupils of the village of Cocuq
Marjanli village named after Novruz Aslanov in the Jabrayil region. The
students were presented holiday gifts and school accessories.
