avropa-amerika56-th session of Commission on Women Status of United Nations was held in New York in USA in the dates of February 27- March 9. The delegation of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation also was invited to the session. Vice-president of ATUC Vagif Eyvazov and the first Vice-president of Azerbaijan Education Workers Independent Trade Union Republic Committee Humbat Nagiyev was in the delegation which was headed by Ilyas Aliyev the first Vice-president of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation.
