Disput club began to work
31 Jan 2020
On January 31, the Republican Committee of the Union of Cultural Workers held a "disputing club" of young members.
The meeting was opened by the chairman of the Republican
Committee, Jamila Sattarova, which was attended by the chairmen of HI district
committees and young activists.
She congratulated the youth on the occasion of the
forthcoming February 2 Youth Day and said that the motivation of young people
to join trade unions is to meet their interests, make suggestions and support.
For this purpose, trade unions, from the first organizations, to the republican
committees, investigate the problems of young people, hold multilateral events,
conclude collective agreements, organize regular seminars, trainings, forums.
When analyzing the results of the field HI forums, we saw that our young
members had a great potential as a community and decided to set up a disputing club,
taking into account the suggestions made there.
Our goal here is to increase the participation of young
members in trade unions. At Disput Club, everyone will have the opportunity to
express their views on a particular topic, based on specific sources. The
topics of the "Disput Club", which will be regularly organized in
various organizations of the Republican Committee, and the club's members will
change constantly.
Young people at the event noted that such an initiative
is worthwhile and useful.
