The first meeting of the FRS Supervisory Board was held

The first meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Sustainable and Operative Social Security Agency (DOST) under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population was held. Under the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, dated Dec. 10, 2018, the Supervisory Board and the Board of Directors were established as the agency's governing bodies. According to the Charter, the Supervisory Board consisting of seven members is Chairman of the Council, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Sahil Babayev, members of the First Vice President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Gunduz Karimov, Chairman of the State Agency for Citizen Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ulvi Mehdiyev, Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the State Agency for Small and Medium Business Development, Sattar Mohbaliyev- Chairman of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation , President of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan, Mammad Musayev, and Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population, Anar Aliyev. The Minister said the Supervisory Board would carry out the overall leadership and control of the Agency. He noted that the Council, which has the authority to make an independent decision on the Agency's activity under the Charter, will determine the development directions, strategic goals and plans of the Agency, and approve relevant documents. The issues of organizing the activity of the DOST Agency and "DOST Business Center" were discussed at the meeting. Chairman of the DOST Agency Farid Mammadov made a presentation on the DOST Business Center, the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Anar Aliyev.
