The II Youth Forum was held

From September 28 to October 1, the II Forum of Youths, a member of the trade union of cultural workers, was held in Khachmaz.
Participants
of the forum, initiated and organized by the Republican Committee of Cultural
Workers Trade Union, first visited the monument to national leader Heydar
Aliyev in Khachmaz and laid flowers at it.
The organizers and a group of participants of the forum were received by the
Head of Khachmaz District Executive Power Shamsaddin Khanbabayev. He welcomed
the initiative and the leadership of the trade union and said that he would
support the implementation at a high level.
The organization began its work at the Education Center Recreation Center in
Nabran, the Free Trade Union of Education Workers.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Speaker of the Republican Committee, Jamila
Sattarova, spoke about the objectives of the Forum, the importance of
successful youth policy in the country, and appreciated the care and attention
provided by the state in this area. He said that the policy pursued by
President Ilham Aliyev ensures the formation of young people as citizens and
their close participation in the socio-political life of the country.
It was stated that the Youth Policy of the Confederation of Trade Unions of
Azerbaijan is based on other activities of the organization. Sattar Muhbaliyev,
chairman of the AICC, pays great attention to young people in his multifaceted
activities. It does not waste their powers and efforts to become worthy
citizens of our society.
Sattarova also said that this year is the 650th anniversary of the birth of
Seid Ali Imaddaddin Nasimi, the thinker of the thinker who has deeply embedded
in the centuries-old artistic and philosophical thinking of the Azerbaijani
people. President Ilham Aliyev has issued a decree on the celebration of the
650th anniversary of the great Azerbaijani poet Imaddin Nasimi and the
announcement of the year 2019 as the Year of Nasimi. Taking this into
consideration, the forum with the participation of young people paid particular
attention to the promotion of the legacy of the great poet.
Tural Suleymanov, Chairman of the Youth Council of the AICC Workers spoke about
the activities of the young members of the Free Trade Union, the head of the
International Relations and Information Department of the MRI, Zaur Hamidov.
The forum continued in
four working groups.
Winners of the
competition "Young Professionals of the Year" were presented at the
event.
