The Constituent Conference of the Trade Union of the Union of Customs Officers

On September 11 the constituent meeting and the first meeting of the Union of Customs Workmen of Azerbaijan were held.
The
chairman of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, member of Parliament Sattar
Mohbaliyev, and chairman of the State Customs Committee Genera- Lieutenant
Safar Mehdiyev attended the event.
The conference started with the state anthem.
The
conference was officially opened by the chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation , member of Parliament Sattar Mohbaliyev and in accordance with the regulations, the
agenda of the conference was approved the members of the Presidium, as well
as by the members of the editorial,
mandate and counting commission.
Then the agenda began to be discussed.
The participants unanimously approved the creation of the
Union of Trade Unions of Customs, the adoption of the Charter, the accession of
trade unions of the Customs Union to the membership of the Azerbaijan Trade
Unions Confederation
Then organizational issues were discussed and Ibrahimov's
candidate was nominated. As a result of voting, Safar Ibragimov was elected
chairman of the Union of Trade Unions of Customs Officers of Azerbaijan. S.
Ibrahimov promised to justify the trust and take an active part in solving the
social, economic and economic problems of the trade union members.
Speaking
at the conference, the Chairman of the State Customs Committee General- Lieutenant
Safar Mehdiyev told that the customs service and customs officers are
constantly surrounded by the attention of President Ilham Aliyev who is doing everything to
improve the working conditions by taking important steps to solve social problems. The Chairman of the
Committee also highly appreciated the establishment of the Trade Union Union of
Customs Officers as one of the important and progressive steps taken in this
direction and expressed confidence that the association will play an important
role in solving social issues of customs officers.
At the end of the meeting, the chairman of the
AHIK Sattar Mohbaliyev, assessed the establishment of the trade union of the
Customs Union as an important event and said that Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation
would continue to support the activities of the organization
