     “President Ilham Aliyev met with a group of railroads at the Baku Railway Station on November 19, saying that great work has been done to rebuild the railways, while the railways in Azerbaijan are ranked 12th in the world at the Davos World Economic Forum. 

He said that there has been great progress in recent years in improving railways and improving rail services.
     These expressions made by Mr. President have stirred up the pride of every railwayman, and have been a valuable incentive to work better. ”
      These words were addressed at the plenary session of the Republican Committee of Railways Independent Trade Union on November 27. Speaking at the plenary session, Chairman of the Republican Committee Fazail Bagirov focused on the tasks facing the organization over the last two years and the steps taken towards their solution. He spoke about his relationships with his partners, especially those of his employees. He also gave some recommendations to the plenum members. He said that employers' requests for dismissal should be carefully investigated and, to the maximum, the interests of employees should be taken into account. Another recommendation was to prevent the operation of the locomotive crews in excess of the monthly limit. Such cases should be disclosed in a timely manner.
     Then a report on the implementation of the collective agreement between the management of the Closed Joint Stock Company and the Republican Committee for 2017-2019 was heard. The report did not say that in accordance with paragraph 9.3 of the Agreement, in addition to the benefits provided, the employees who were terminated on their own initiative, were given one-time benefits in the amount of 5 times their wage. Employees who have reached retirement age have been paid lump-sum benefits of 5 times the tariff rate for 15 working days from the date of retirement, as well as the disability rate.
     Work and rest periods of employees in the society are regulated in accordance with the provisions of the Labor Code and the collective bargaining agreement.
     According to the relevant clauses of the collective agreement, the employer will be given a 3-day leave to the first-grader in connection with the beginning of the new school year for 5 calendar days without additional leave for harmful and hard work.
    Mothers with children between the ages of 3 and 16 are not allowed to work overnight, overtime, to work and to work on holidays and non-working days without their consent. At the request of a pregnant woman, a child under the age of 16 or caring for a sick member of the family, an incomplete working day or work week shall be established on the basis of a medical opinion.
     Employees who work at least half of their daily working hours are paid an additional 40 per cent of their hourly wage.
    All employees are paid 5 to 20 percent of their monthly tariff (job) salary, depending on their length of service.
    Eight injured and eight injured employees of the Chernobyl accident are paid 400 manats a year from the place of employment.
    Railway accommodation, which needs to be improved, is provided on a regular basis.
    The report did not say that the Republic Committee received 1246 applications last year. All of them have been seriously investigated and appropriate measures have been taken.
