On October 5, the Union of Cultural Employers' Trade Unions held a meeting dedicated to the 7 October World Labor Day celebrated by the ATUC Center for Gender Equality and Women's Issues.
The event was opened by the chairman of the Republican
Committee and the Center Jamilya Sattarova. Speaking about the establishment
date of the Decent Labor Day in his speech, he said that, the first conditions
for labor and workplace workers and technical safety rules are envisaged in the
case of decent labor: "Employers should be responsible for working in a
safe working environment, protecting their health and organizing the rest. This
day accepted as a day of solidarity. Therefore, at the event, we have used the
slogan "Decent labor is a decent life." This slogan is mainly for women because
woman’s labor is in danger.
Sattarova said that currently international
trade unions think debate and propose to prevent this threat. One of such
suggestions is that, by the way, I am also among the supporters of this
proposal, shortening women's work time and raising their salaries as the representatives
of the delicate sex, come from work to work. So in the post-work hours they are
faced with the solution of household problems, kitchen and other problems.
Deputy
Chairperson of the Women's Council of Oil and Gas Industry, Trade Union
Republican Committee, Chairman of the Commission on Gender Equality and Women
Affairs Shukufa Huseynzade spoke about the problems and the conditions created
by women in industry and industry, and the technical inspector of the Trade
Union Republican Committee of Cultural Workers Chingiz Ibrahimov, spoke about
the working conditions created for the workers, and the work carried out towards
the safety of their labor
