1st forum of Cultural Workers Trade Union young members took place

On September 21, 1st forum of the regional trade union’s young members was held in Guba as organized by Trade Union Republican Committee of Cultural Workers.
Forum attendees first visited the
monument to the leader Heydar Aliyev erected in the centre of Guba and laid
flowers at the monument.
Highly appreciating the significance of
this forum, Jamila Sattarova, chairwoman of Trade Union Republican Committee of
Cultural Workers spoke about successful policy for the youth implemented in the
republic highlighting the state’s care and attention to this area.
Jamila Sattarova stated that the forum
took place in Guba namely at the young members request. The young people of Azerbaijan
are distinguished in international arena with their creative ideas. The youth
policy set up the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev is being successfully continued
today by Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan’s youth take an active part in the republic’s public and political
life and contribute to its development.
Anar Mammadov, representative of Guba
Executive Power made a speech in the forum and said: “It is due to the
successful policy pursued by the state that our youth integrate into
international arena. The young people of Guba are distinguished with their
ideas and activities as well. There are 46 thousands young people in Guba and
significant part of them takes an active part in the region’s public and
political life”.

Youth and Sports Department spoke about the successful performance of Guba
athletes in international arena. He stated that our republic hosts large-scale
sports events in high level.
The forum proceeded with its activities
in 4 separate groups. Views were exchanged on offers made in groups.
