A memorandum of cooperation

There was signed a memorandum of cooperation between the Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederations. In this document both of the sides are committed to their obligations to adapt their policy not only at the country level,
and also at the international level and to share their
practices. On behalf of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation the
vice-president of ATUC Agil Dadashov signed the memorandum.
The signing ceremony was during the conference on
theme “Collective labor dispute, practices and challenges”, which was held on 9th
July in Astana. The Conference was dedicated to the 110th
anniversary of the establishment of trade unions in Kazakhstan.
The vice-president of
ATUC Agil Dadashov gave information about eliminating labor issues and the
current situation in our country. At the end organizational issues were
discussed. Abelqazi Kusainov was again elected a chairman of Federation. There
are 2.2 million members in Kazakhstan Trade Unions Federation. There are
combined 25 area, 16 territory trade unions in KTUF.
