Mufidzadeh Rofet
He was born in 1948. He graduated from Azerbaijan Oil and Chemistry Institute named after M.Azizbeyov (nowdays Azerbaijan Oil Academy) in 1971.He is the candidate of technical sciences and the author of the 6 inventions and 34 scientific works.
From 1969 till 1997 his labor activities were connected with oil industry of the Azerbaijan Republic. He worked as the assistant driller of oil and gas wells in oil and gas extraction facilities, from the posts of operator on oil and gas production and engineer to the director and deputy director of the laboratory in Azerbaijan Oil - Gas Industry Scientific - Research Institute, the head of the Baku
Complex scientific - industrial sector of the "VNIITneft" All-Union Institute and to the positions of the deputy head of the department in Onshore Oil and Gas Production Industry Association of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic.
In 1997 R.Mufizadeh was elected chairman to Onshore Oil and Gas Production Industry Workers’ Trade Union and in May 2003 after the structural changes in the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic he was elected as a chairman to the largest trade union community - Azneft Production Association Workers Trade Union Committee.
He was elected the chairman of the Azerbaijan Republican Defense Industry Workers’ Trade Union in 2007 February. He is a member of Assembly and Executive committee of ATUC.
From the June 2009 he is a member of the bureau of National Community of the Defense Industry Workers’ Trade Unions of CIS countries.
He was awarded the honorary title “Honored art worker” of the Azerbaijan Republic.
According
to the order of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic dated 21.10.2015 Rofat
Hamid oflu Mufid-zade was awarded with the “Taraggi” medal.
He is married and has a child.
