The Karabakh Revival Foundation will become a symbol of unity and solidarity of our people

The people of Azerbaijan have entered 2021 with a great historical victory.
By restoring the country's territorial integrity, the
Azerbaijani state has once again demonstrated to the world its commitment to
the principles of international law and the supremacy of national and moral
values.
Today, a completely new stage in the history of our
country's development is beginning. Undoubtedly, the revival of our liberated
territories at this stage will be one of the important supporting factors in
further strengthening the political and economic sovereignty of Azerbaijan.
These regions will soon be resettled, our people will have a decent life and
general economic activity. The construction and restoration work to be carried
out in Karabakh and surrounding areas will serve to further strengthen the
foundations of socio-economic development of our country.
Of course, it is the desire and honor of every Azerbaijani
to support this creative work. Because this support will also be an important
contribution to the victory of each of us, to the idea of national unity for
a strong and powerful Azerbaijan, to our goal of living a sovereign and secure.
Taking into account all these important points, on January 4, 2021, President
Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the establishment of the Karabakh Revival Fund,
a public legal entity. The newly established Fund provides financial support
and investment in the restoration and reconstruction of the liberated
territories of Azerbaijan, as well as the transformation of Azerbaijan into a
region with a sustainable economy and high prosperity, the development of
public-private partnership in this area, as well as in the country and abroad
is a public legal entity carrying out necessary propaganda work abroad. Funds
are formed from donations of individuals and legal entities, grants and other
sources not prohibited by law.
It should be unequivocally noted that the establishment
of the "Karabakh Revival Fund" is one of the most important steps
taken by our state in the direction of the great return of the Azerbaijani
people to Karabakh. We all know very well that there has been no act of
vandalism committed by Armenian invaders in the occupied lands for 30 years.
Our cities, settlements and villages have been destroyed, our natural resources
have been looted, and our historical and cultural heritage has been completely
destroyed. The enemy did his best to hide the real owners of these lands from
the world. But all this did not work. The homeland could not and did not remain
under the oppression of the enemy forever. As the Supreme Commander-in-Chief,
Mr. Ilham Aliyev, said, we liberated our lands at the cost of the blood of our
martyrs. Today, we are beginning to revive those lands with the sweat of our
brows. We have large-scale construction and restoration work ahead of us, and
everyone wants to see their share in this work. However, retail in such matters
is also absolutely unacceptable. From this point of view, the establishment of
the "Karabakh Revival Fund" is an event of exceptional importance.
I am confident that the Karabakh Revival Foundation will
become one of the symbols of unity and solidarity of the Azerbaijani people in
2021, and it is with the support of this Foundation that our liberated regions
will soon take their rightful place among the developed regions of our
republic.
