Conference on “Role of occupational standards in staff training and workforce productivity enhancement”

Opening the conference, the Minister for Labour and Social Protection of the Population Salim Muslumov mentioned that 200 occupational standards were worked out for Azerbaijan in 2010-2013 as a part of the “Social protection development” project carried out in collaboration with the World Bank and the said ministry. He noted Azerbaijan hadn’t almost had the detailed description of occupations and a system of occupational requirements conforming to modern ones and market economy principles down to the recent times.
