The 25th anniversary of the Azerbaijani Enterprises, Private and Scientific Institutions Trade Union Committee

On April 8, the staff of the Azerbaijani Enterprises, Private and Scientific Institutions Trade Union Committee on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the organization went to Alley of Honor, honored the memory of the founder of the modern independent Azerbaijan, national leader Heydar Aliyev, and laid a wreath at the tomb.
Then they commemorated the prominent ophthalmologist,
academician Zarifa Aliyeva and put flowers on the grave.
On the same day, there was held the event on occasion
of the foundation of Enterprises, Private and Scientific Institutions Trade
Union Committee in "BI-BI" Recreation Center, conference room. Mohammad
Salman, the chairman of the Republican Committee, opened the ceremony with a
speech.
Then the participants commemorated with a minute of
silence the Azerbaijani army soldiers, who have been killed in the battles from
April 2 to 4, on the recommendation of provocation committed by Armenians in
Nagorno-Karabakh.
M. Salman was presented the agenda of the day and then
there was shown a video about the action of Trade Union Committee for 25 years.
Deputy Chairman of the Republican Committee Zenfira
Bunyatova, spoke about of the history and passed way by union during these
years. She also spoke about achievements on labor protection, gender policy,
youth work, and protection of social right.
Then the chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions
Confederation, MP Sattar Mehbaliyev had a speech. The Chairman of the Confederation greeted the participants and congratulated
them by 25th anniversary of the establishment of trade unions and wished them success in the protection of
members on the socio-economic interests.
At the end, a group
of union workers were presented honorary diplomas by Trade Union Confederation and
also by Republican Committee.
