Transparency creates mutual responsibility

A collective agreement has been signed between the Trade Union Committee and the Management of the Center,of the Scientific-Methodical and Qualification Center (SMQC) for Culture of the Ministry Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the Azerbaijan Academy of Labor and Social Affairs.
Rector of the Academy, Professor Huseyn Qarashov welcomed
the guests and noted the importance of each person involved in the labor
activity to be informed of their rights. Chairperson of the Republican
Committee of the Trade Union of Cultural Workers, Honored Culture Worker Jamila
Sattarova spoke about the importance of the trade union activity at
enterprises.
He noted that the position of the trade union should
express the interests of each employee and the whole team.
Mr. Javid Aliyev stressed that the protection of the interests of the employees is an important condition. He
noted that the trade union committee
should take an active position in
evaluating the activities of its employees. The speaker noted that the new
evaluation criteria prepared by the
union would contribute to the promotion
of healthy competition in the staff. He
said that as a result of the introduction of the system of "employees rating",
more fair and objective assessment of the activity will be provided.
Ceyhun Ahmadov, Head of the Center for Youth Culture and
Youth Affairs, spoke about "The role of the Trade Union Committee in the
settlement of conflicts in the collective."
Director of the Center, Asif Usubaliyev, assessed this event as
commendable. He stated that the publicity of the trade union committee and the
publicity mechanism were an indication of good health. Transparency will
prevent not only the collective leadership, but also the unfair and unfounded
allegations of the collective leadership.
At the end of the event, Honorary editions were
presented by Jamila Sattarova, Chairman of the Republican Committee of the
Trade Union of Cultural Workers.
