"Today, the institutional initiatives of the state play an exceptional role in caring for the families of martyrs and participants of the Great Patriotic War in Azerbaijan.
The comprehensive social support package developed by our
state specifically for the post-war period, first of all, envisages the
solution of social problems of family members of war martyrs, war participants,
war invalids, citizens affected by Armenian terror in various directions. The
statement came from MP, chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation
Sattar Mohbaliyev.

state play an important role in the implementation of social support programs
and the protection of the social orientation of state policy: “First of all, it
should be noted that institutional initiatives protect the social orientation
of state policy. The Azerbaijani state has always been and will always be with
its citizens. Today, the state pays the highest attention and care to the
families of our soldiers killed in the Great Patriotic War, our veterans and
servicemen. It should be noted that in accordance with the instructions of
President Ilham Aliyev, the Central Bank and the Association of Banks of
Azerbaijan canceled both principal and interest on 1,503 loans to 830 martyrs
on the official list of the Ministry of Defense. was provided. Also, 286 loans
belonging to the families of our martyrs, 1,323 loans to the wounded
servicemen, 15 people killed and 9 civilians seriously injured were completely
written off. In general, the social protection and improvement of the welfare
of servicemen and the families of martyrs in Azerbaijan has always been a key
component of state policy. Extensive state support mechanisms have been formed
in this direction, and they are covered by comprehensive state care. In
particular, the internal management potential of AzSigorta has been increased,
taking into account the significant increase in the number of applications from
servicemen and their heirs for insurance payments for martyrdom, disability and
other serious and minor injuries. The company's activities have been adapted to
a new scale of appeals, human resources have been increased, and repetitive
operations have been automated. ”
Further, Sattar Mohbaliyev stressed the importance of
institutional initiatives in terms of maintaining and further expanding the
environment of national unity and solidarity: “We can say unequivocally that
Karabakh, established by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev on January 4,
2021. The Revival Fund is a great institutional contribution to the
preservation and further strengthening of our national unity. Regardless of the
amount of this Fund, every Azerbaijani who willingly transfers funds will have
a share in the restoration of the liberated territories. This, of course, will
strengthen our national and spiritual unity, increase the love for the
motherland, land and country. The importance of public-private partnership in
the restoration of the territories with the establishment of the Fund is even
more pronounced. The Karabakh Revival Fund provides financial support and
investment in the restoration and reconstruction of the liberated territories,
as well as the transformation of the region into a region with a sustainable
economy and high prosperity, development of public-private partnership in this
field, as well as inside and outside the country. carries out necessary
propaganda work. It should be noted that the establishment of the Fund is a
manifestation of the state's Karabakh policy. It is safe to say that as a
logical result of this policy, our territories will be completely rebuilt as
soon as possible, infrastructure will be created there, modern cities, towns
and villages will be built, and a peaceful, safe and comfortable life will come
to the region. ”
The MP also stressed that the institutional initiative
put forward by the state to ensure objectivity in the consideration of
citizens' appeals is already yielding positive results: “The Azerbaijani state
is sensitive to the appeals of every serviceman who took part in the Patriotic
War. For this purpose, a special commission has been set up at the Ministry of
Defense to consider the appeals of demobilized people. The commission operating
at the Armed Forces Training and Education Center considered about 800 appeals
in just a few days and took appropriate measures to resolve them. The work of
the commission's mobile groups operating in the regions is also commendable.
