Sattar Mohbaliyev: "Armenia's war crimes continue"
22 Apr 2021
"Another military crime of Armenia is the failure to provide Azerbaijan with mine maps of the liberated territories.
Armenia
must answer to the international court for both these and other crimes. ” The
statement came from MP, chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation
Sattar Mohbaliyev.
In an
interview with Azerbaijan Television on April 20, the MP stressed that the
views expressed by President Ilham Aliyev on the Zangazur corridor are of great
importance for the interests of our country and people. One idea is entirely in
the interests of Azerbaijan and puts the national interests of our people as a
priority against the background of new realities in the South Caucasus.
Speaking about the reconstruction work carried out in the liberated
territories, the head of state said that work was underway in all directions to
establish road infrastructure. As noted, the construction of the Fizuli-Shusha
road is underway. The foundation of the Horadiz-Zangilan highway will be laid
in the near future. The construction of Fuzuli-Hadrut, Fuzuli-Jabrail,
Barda-Agdam, Goygol-Toganali-Kalbajar highways has already begun, and in
parallel, the Barda-Agdam and Horadiz-Zangilan-Agband railway infrastructure is
being created. This road will reach the Zangazur corridor. The President of the
country voiced very important views on the Zangazur corridor in particular:
“The establishment of the Zangazur corridor fully meets our national,
historical and future interests. We will implement the Zangazur corridor,
whether Armenia wants it or not. If he wants, we will solve it easier, if he
does not want, we will solve it by force. As I said before and during the war,
voluntarily renounce our land or we will evict you by force. That's what
happened. The fate of the Zangazur corridor will be the same. Our main rival is
time. Because the construction of railways and highways takes time. Therefore,
all forces have been mobilized to implement this project. Thus, the people of
Azerbaijan will return to Zangazur, which was taken from us 101 years ago. ”
Not only the people of Azerbaijan, but the whole world knows that the President
of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, keeps all his promises without exception.
Therefore, it is safe to say that the commissioning of the Zangazur corridor is
only a matter of time. "
Sattar
Mohbaliyev noted that the Armenian government has not yet renounced war crimes
and it is inadmissible for international organizations to take any measures in
return. “As noted, today Azerbaijan has already launched major infrastructure
projects in the liberated territories. Our President has repeatedly informed
the Azerbaijani public about this. Work is underway to supply electricity to
the liberated area. Also, work is underway in all areas to create road
infrastructure. However, if all this work can be done faster, Armenia's next
war crimes will significantly delay the implementation of this work. The point
is that the Armenian side still refuses to provide Azerbaijan with mine maps.
However, the head of state said that they had accurate information that they
had such maps. By not giving these maps, Armenia commits another war crime.
Under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Mr. Ilham Aliyev,
Azerbaijan fought a restrained war. Damage to the civilian infrastructure of
the opposite side and the loss among civilians was minimal. During the war, not
a single civilian was harmed by our servicemen. The loss of less than 40
civilians on the Armenian side is a clear proof of this. However, Armenian
armed forces have always targeted civilians. Even now, more than 100
Azerbaijani civilians have been injured and killed since the end of the war
because mine maps have not been issued. Armenia must answer to the
international court for all war crimes it has committed. ”
