According
to him, Mr. President reiterated that the occupation of the occupied

last year, the head of state pointed out that there was a provocation. Heavy
artillery shelling of civilian areas and the number of dead and wounded among
the residents forced the Azerbaijani Army to launch counter-offensives, and
Azerbaijan was right in this regard. With this statement, it became clear to
the participants of the session that if this provocation was not prevented,
Armenia intended to further expand the policy of occupation. We can say with
confidence that Armenia has already been neutralized for the region, its
aggressive policy has been stopped, and its army has been destroyed.
"Mr.
President also recalls the UN Security Council resolutions and the norms and
principles of international law, which prove Azerbaijan's rightful position in
this conflict, and notes that it is the basis for the restoration of
Azerbaijan's sovereign rights. It is unfortunate that the Security Council
resolutions have not been implemented in the peaceful settlement of the
conflict. Apparently, "double standards" hinder the implementation of
UN resolutions and resolutions, which are the largest subjects of international
politics. The proposal to develop enforcement mechanisms to prevent this is a
significant step. Confidence in the initiatives of this organization can be
increased for the establishment of international peace, Mohbaliyev said.
"The
President's recall of Azerbaijan's contribution to the implementation of
regional projects such as East-West, North-South, North-West transport
corridors is an indicator of the economic strength and geopolitical importance
of our country. The opening of the Zangazur transport corridor will further
increase the region's regional significance and economic potential, and will be
important for every state that uses this corridor, including Armenia. At the
same time, by restoring our land connection with Nakhchivan, we will have
direct access to Turkey, new communication links will be established, as well
as will allow Azerbaijan to strengthen its position as a transport and
logistics center in Eurasia, he said.
"Mr. President, by recalling the
international initiatives of Azerbaijan in the fight against pandemic, which
was one of the first countries to launch measures to combat COVID-19, shows
that our country is quite sensitive in this matter. We were one of the first
countries to introduce the coronavirus vaccine, and the total number of
vaccines vaccinated in Azerbaijan to date is 1,423,660. This is quite a large
