"Şix " sanatorium was opened after the capital repair and reconstruction

On 12 August "Şix " sanatorium was opened after the capital repair and reconstruction. Chairman of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation Sattar Mehbaliyev gave information of this complex.
He said that this sanatorium has begun its activity
since 1982 and till 1992, 200 people could be received to this complex.
However, in 1992 due to Nagorni Karabakh conflict, 150 refugees were settled in
the second corpus of the complex where there were 100 places.
Chairman stressed that according to the state program
on development of health resorts in Azerbaijan covering 2009-2018, construction
and capital repair started in 2015.This complex consists of 102 places and 1,2,
3 rooms and also 2.5 hectares of land. Each room is provided with hot and cold
water. Many trees and flowers have planted.
At this complex procedures such as naphthalene and mud
baths, paraffin, physiotherapy massage will be provided for patients.
S.Mehbaliyev added
that 8 sanatoriums, 1 therapeutic guest houses and 10 recreation centers are
operating under AHIK.
