The memory of the martyr's tankman marked in Surakhani

On 24 October an event dedicated to the memory of Ahmed Mohbaliyev with "Flag of Azerbaijan"order , who died during the battle for freedom of our lands, was held at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Surakhani district.
Participants of the event first visited
the monument of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the region and acquainted with
the Heydar Aliyev Center of Surakhani district.
At the beginning of the event, the
memory of our sons and daughters, who were killed for the freedom of our
country, was commemorated with a minute of silence. Head of the Surakhani
District Executive Power Department, Barkhudar Barkhudarov, said that the
former Soviet Army soldier Mohbaliyev Ahmed Suliddin oghlu returned to his
native Azerbaijan on April 1, 1992, as an officer in the newly formed army of
national army started operations at the frontline and showed heroic battles in
the battles for Shusha, Lachin, Gubadli, Tartar and Aghdam districts.
Though he was severely wounded in battle
three times, he returned to the front on June 25, 1993 and was martyred in the
battles for the Golden-Kangarli village of Agdam region. He was awarded with
the Order of the Azerbaijan Republic (after the death) with the Decree of the
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 25 June 1994. It was emphasized
that President Ilham Aliyev pays special attention and care to those who are
killed for the freedom of our lands, their families, war invalids and
participants. In the Garachukhur settlement of Surakhani district, there is a
street named after Ahmad Mohbaliyev. One of the local programs to be
implemented in the region is the overhaul of the martyrs' memorial complexes
and construction of new ones. According to the program, 19 memorial complexes
were reconstructed and new ones were erected in memory of 63 martyrs in the
past period. Bayram Safarov, the head of the Shusha Region Executive Authority,
the chairman of the Public Association of the Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan,
said that Armenians who have pursued a policy of genocide against the people of
Azerbaijan have recently attacked our country of independence and Karabakh and
its surrounding regions are the eyes of the world community. Thousands of our
compatriots were brutally murdered, expelled from their homelands, and
subjected to relentless torture. The sons and daughters of Azerbaijan went to
the defense of the Motherland in the face of such a difficult political and
economic crisis and wrote their names in the memory of their heroic heroism in
the battle of the united fight with the Armenian armed forces. One of such
fighters was Ahmed Mogbaliyev. The way of Ahmed Mohbalyev is an example for
every young man. His dear memory will always live in the hearts of those who
love Azerbaijan.

journalist Lala Huseynova, ex-commander of the Sabail tank battalion Haji
Azimov, President of the Dada Gordud Foundation Eldar Ismayilov and Ahmed Mohbaliyev's
front speeches said today, the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan are among the 50 most
powerful military forces in the world. At the beginning of April 2016, our
army, which faced Armenia's next military provocation on the frontline, was
attacking the occupiers and liberated two thousand hectares from the enemy in a
short time. In May 2018, more than 11,000 hectares of the Nakhchivan Autonomous
Republic were liberated from the enemy and the Yerevan-Gorus-Lachin road was
taken into custody. Speaking about heroism of Ahmed Mohbaliyev, the speakers
stressed that his dear memory lives in the hearts of every person and that
heroism is an example for all young people.
The brother of Ahmed Mohbaliyev, Khalig
Mohbaliyev, thanked President Ilham Aliyev on behalf of his family for the care
and attention shown to the martyrs, their families, war invalids and
participants for the freedom of the country.
At the event, the song dedicated to Ahmad
Mohbaliyev was performed. At the end of the event, several people who were
active in the patriotic education of young people, as well as the organizers of
this event, were awarded with AHIK diplomas. The "Dede Gorgud" National
Foundation and Ahmed Mohbaliyev were awarded with "Hazi Aslanov"
order (after death) and his wife "Mehriban ana".
