New building of the “Tebib” Recreation Center was brought into service

Final meeting of the Higher Scientific Board of the Azerbaijan Medical University (AMU) for this year was held at the “Tebib” Recreation Center, Nabran, Khachmaz.
During the meeting, results of the current year were discussed
and decisions were made accordingly.
Apart from the meeting of the Board, opening ceremony for
new building of the recreation center took place. The Principal of the ATU,
professor Garay Garaybayli said it is gratifying opening new buildings every
year. He stated that reconstruction works had been performed constantly, a modern
canteen had been built two years before, and first renovated building had been
opened a year before.
As to the Chairman of the AMU Trade Union Committee,
associate professor Jahangir Gasimov, reconstruction was financed by the
committee.
The building newly brought into service has 7 four-bed
and 3 two-bed rooms. The rooms have been provided with necessary facilities for
the clients’ convenience. Also boiling-room has been provided at the recreation
center which will ensure operation of the “Tebib” Recreation Center in winter
as well.
